Why is sustainability important to us?
We believe that, in the face of environmental challenges, it is essential to take responsibility not only on an individual level but also at the corporate level. We are convinced that through conscious decisions and sustainable solutions, we can have a positive impact on the world.
How do we make it happen?
REFU Hungary Kft. joined the GoZero program launched by the PRETTL Group in 2020, immediately after its establishment in 2021. Our main goal is to achieve climate-neutral production by 2025, while continuously striving to minimize our environmental impact.
Climate-neutral production means fully compensating for the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases emitted during production processes. This can be achieved through the use of various renewable energy sources, energy-efficient solutions, or projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The goal is to ensure that the harmful substances emitted during production do not contribute to global warming, thus achieving “climate neutrality.”
